Dr. Mel Hyde is a Research Fellow at the School of Psychology, part of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences at The University of Queensland. With over a decade of experience in academic and non-profit research, her work applies social and health psychology theories to understand altruistic behaviors such as substance donation (organs, blood, breast milk) and volunteering.
