Dr. Meghann Matthews is a University Teacher in the School of Psychology at the University of Sheffield. She holds a BSc, MSc, and PhD. Her research focuses on social psychology, particularly emotion regulation, interpersonal behaviors, and consumer behavior in environmental contexts. She contributes to teaching in social psychology and research methods modules, supervising undergraduate dissertations and extended essays.
Dr. Matthews’ work spans theoretical and applied domains. Her research explores how individuals regulate their own and others’ emotions, with implications for consumer engagement in sustainable practices and waste management strategies.
