Meghan O'Connor serves as Associate Professor of Art in the Department of Visual Arts, College of Humanities at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, SC. She teaches printmaking and life drawing courses.

Research focuses on social and cultural power structures and their influence on decision-making. Her creative methodology centers on stone lithography, modular forms, and audience interaction through works like arm wrestling tables, cast fingers, and cast chicken skins. These practices extend across drawing, printmaking, sculpture, installation, performance, and community collaboration.
Her artwork is exhibited globally and held in permanent collections including Columbia College (Chicago), Gippsland Centre for Art and Design (Australia), Proyecto’ace Print Collection (Buenos Aires), and the Library of Congress. She has completed artist residencies at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Stonehouse Residency, and Arquetopia Foundation.
