Meagan Stirling is an Associate Professor of Art at Westmont College, specializing in Printmaking, Design, and Intermedia. She holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA from Whitworth University. Her work explores perceptions of risk, safety, and caregiving through printmaking, installation, and performance. Notable projects include Ring-around the Rosie (2020) and the community initiative Print Power, which uses art to help trauma survivors process experiences. She has exhibited widely in the U.S., including at Sullivan Goss Gallery and Whitworth University's Oliver Gallery.
Education: MFA, University of Wisconsin-Madison; BA, Whitworth University.
Research focuses on domestic objects, maternal experience, and community-driven art practices. Her installations often incorporate ritualistic processes and materials like clothing, found objects, and mixed media. She co-founded Print Power, funded by grants from the City of Santa Barbara, to facilitate trauma-informed workshops for survivors.
