Travis Janssen is an Associate Professor in Printmaking at the College of Art, Architecture, and Design, Southern Illinois University. He earned an MFA in Printmaking from Arizona State University (2007) and a BFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (2000). Janssen has taught at SIU since 2008, blending historic and contemporary printmaking techniques with video and installation art.
- Research Focus: Cross-disciplinary collaboration, experimental print media, and hybrid art forms.
- Exhibition Record: Solo shows at Seed Space (TN), DEMO Project (IL), University of Notre Dame (IN), and international group exhibitions across 7+ countries.
- Roles: Faculty Advisor to PrintForce 5000, SIU campus student organization.
