Mauro Tulli is a Full Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Pisa, affiliated with the Department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics. He serves as Delegate for Relations with National University Institutions and has held leadership roles, including Director of the Department and President of the Area 10 Committee at the University of Pisa.
- Education: PhD in Greek and Latin Philology (University of Florence, 1987); Laurea in Greek Literature (Sapienza University of Rome, 1981).
His research spans ancient and medieval textual traditions, classical rhetoric, and intersections between literature and philosophy. He has contributed to training high school teachers and taught courses in Papyrology, Classical Philology, and Greek Metrics. Tulli is actively involved in editorial leadership as Director of journals like Cronache Ercolanesi and founder of Philologia Philosophica.
