Research Interests
Her scholarship focuses on the history of the Greek language, philological and literary analysis of archaic Greek poetry, Hellenistic and Imperial epigram, Greek theatre, Greek lexicography, and Imperial prose. She is deeply engaged in textual criticism and papyrology, exploring the relations between Greek and Latin literature, and investigating the history of classical philology. Digital approaches to fragmentary poetry and the creation of XML/LOD critical editions constitute an emerging research strand.
Recent Publication Trends
Between 2022-2025 her output reveals a concentration on archaic iambic and elegiac poetry (Archilochus, Hipponax, Semonides), Hellenistic epigrammatists (Meleager, Hedylus, Strato), and reception studies spanning from Strabo to Botticelli and medieval Latin authors. Cross-generic intertextuality, gendered discourse, and botanical/erotic imagery are recurrent analytical lenses, while digital philology projects (CLARIN-IT, XML editions) foreground methodological innovation.
