Matthew L. Williams is an Assistant Professor of Music Education at the University of Arizona's College of Fine Arts. He coordinates music education programs, teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, and advises graduate theses/dissertations. His research focuses on social justice in music education, teacher preparation, and music perception. He previously taught at the University of Delaware and holds degrees from the University of Kentucky, Boston University, the University of Louisville, and Florida State University.

Teaching Experience: Previously taught band, music theory, and music appreciation in Kentucky public schools.
