Matt Raupp is an Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Development at the College for Creative Studies (CCS), where he focuses on interaction design, UX/UI, motion design, and creative coding. He holds an MFA and BFA from Eastern Michigan University and has been part of the CCS faculty since 2000, transitioning to a full-time role in 2013.

Matt is actively engaged in the design community as a long-time member of AIGA and IxDA. His artistic work, particularly the ongoing #Detroit photography series with over 2,000 images, reflects a deep engagement with the city's visual and cultural landscape.

- Best in Show, 50th Annual Scarab Club Photography Exhibition
Matt has presented at significant events such as the AICAD Conference and the College for Creative Studies + Kettering University Symposium on Creative Intelligence. He also co-curated the 'Revolution: Evolution International Graphic Design Exhibition' and served as a judge for the TIMDetroit: Technology In Motion Hackathon. He has exhibited interactive installations, including at the 'What We’re Made Of Faculty Exhibition'.
He previously co-founded Defrost Design, a studio serving clients like Nissan, Audi, GM, the DIA, and DSO, and worked as a senior designer at Eastern Michigan University. His professional background deeply informs his pedagogical and creative practice.
