Mark Franz is an Associate Professor in the School of Art + Design at Ohio University's Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts. With over two decades of professional experience, he has worked as a UX/UI and motion designer for clients including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Red Light Management. His creative work has been exhibited in over 100 exhibitions, lectures, and artist residencies worldwide.
His educational background includes:
- M.F.A. in Art + Technology from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago
- M.A. in Electronic Art and Animation from Ball State University
Professor Franz's research explores the dynamic intersection of UI/UX design, motion graphics, and data visualization.
