Mateja Celestina is an Assistant Professor at Coventry University's Research Centre for Peace and Security. Her work focuses on displacement caused by conflict, development projects, and the socio-spatial impacts on affected communities. She explores belonging, memory, and identity formation in post-displacement contexts.
Education: PhD in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response from the University of Manchester (2014), MSc International Development from the University of Birmingham (2009), and MSc Political Science from the University of Ljubljana (2007).
