Anna Gillions is a Doctorate Student and Researcher at the Research Centre for Peace and Security, Coventry University. She holds an MSc in Development Management (Open University, 2011) and an MSc in Mindfulness and Compassion (Coventry University, 2018). Her research focuses on the intersection of structural factors and individual behaviors in contexts of violence, non-violence, and social marginalization. Anna combines transdisciplinary approaches from psychology, sociology, and public policy to explore how mindfulness interventions, conflict transformation training, and structural inequalities influence human behavior and societal relations.
