Mary K. Estes

Mary K. Estes is a Distinguished Service Professor and Cullen Foundation Endowed Chair at Baylor College of Medicine. She holds academic roles including Co-Director of the GEMS Core (Gastrointestinal Experimental Model Systems) at the Texas Medical Center Digestive Diseases Center, Emeritus Founding Director of the Texas Medical Center Digestive Diseases Center, and Emeritus Founding Co-Director of the Translational Biology and Molecular Medicine Graduate Program.

Education

Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, followed by postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine.
