Mark Standiford is an Assistant Professor at Tabor College, serving concurrently as the Head Baseball Coach and Associate Athletic Director since 2008. His academic and athletic roles are intertwined with leadership in sports education and coaching. Standiford holds a degree from Wichita State University, where he set records as a student-athlete, including 69 home runs and a historic 1988 College World Series appearance. He has been inducted into multiple halls of fame, including the Wichita State Shocker Sports Hall of Fame, Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame, and Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.

Research/Athletic Achievements: Standiford’s focus is on baseball excellence, having led Tabor’s Bluejays to NAIA World Series appearances (2014, 2015) and producing over 70 All-Conference players. His coaching has propelled numerous athletes into professional baseball, including Tyson Kendrick (Detroit Tigers) and Dustin Hurlbutt (Oakland Athletics).
