Dr. Pamela Verhulst, also known as 'Dr. V', is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at McMurry University. She holds dual roles, also serving as an Instructor in the Sport & Performance Psychology (SPP) Department at the University of Western States. Her career includes extensive experience as a faculty member and coach at DII, DIII, and NAIA institutions across the U.S., complemented by international teaching in Malaysia.

Research interests focus on disordered eating among athletes, exercise science, and sport psychology. Dr. V has been honored with Olympic coaching recognition and Hall of Fame status for her contributions to cross country and track & field programs. She actively contributes to USA Track and Field governance through her Technical Council appointment.
Her career spans athletic administration, fitness facility management, and international coaching. Personal interests include competitive marathon running (with two Olympic trial participations) and rescue animal advocacy.
