Emily Conner is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at King University. She holds a bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a master’s in Sport Physiology from Texas A&M University, an MBA from East Tennessee State University (2017), and an Ed.D. in Global Sport Leadership (2021). Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and USA Weightlifting (USAW) coach, she has extensive experience in personal training, sport science, and academic advising. She previously worked with an Olympic Training Site and served as faculty advisor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Her teaching spans organizational behavior, legal issues in sport, strength and conditioning, and exercise physiology. She emphasizes mentoring students and integrating faith into academic and professional life. Beyond academia, she trains regularly, gardens, and actively participates in her local church.
