Mario Looso is an Honorary Professor of Bioinformatics in the Life Science Engineering Department at Technical University of Central Hesse (THM) with additional leadership roles at Max Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research and Cardio-Pulmonary Institute. He heads the Bioinformatics and IT working groups at Max Planck Institute in Bad Nauheim and leads a research group at the Translational Hub for Cardio-Pulmonary Systems Biology in Giessen. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Doctoral Centre for Engineering Sciences, supervising candidates in bioinformatics-related research.
