Marie-Anne Figueiredo is an Associate Professor in the Technologies, Information and Management department at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS) and a member of the LITEM research laboratory. She holds a PhD in Management Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine, complemented by a Master's degree from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Since 2009, she has led curriculum initiatives including the redesign of IMT-BS's Grande Ecole Program and currently directs the IS Management major and CMSI MSc program.
Her research explores the intersection of digital technologies and organizational practices, with emphasis on digital transformation, agile project management, and sociomateriality in workspaces. She investigates how ICT appropriation reshapes management strategies, New Ways of Working (NWoW), and standards like PMBoK and SCRUM. Her recent publications analyze leadership metaphors in agile teams and sustainable finance innovations.
Figueiredo's scholarly recognition includes being a finalist for IMT's 2021 teaching award for her hybrid project management course, which also received FNEGE's 'Digital Age Pedagogical System' accreditation.
