Ghislaine Garmilis is an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS), affiliated with its School of Business. She holds a PhD in Management Sciences from Paris Dauphine University (2009) and an HDR in Economics and Management from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (2023).

Her research focuses on trust dynamics, corporate governance, and ethical frameworks in financial accounting, with a specialization in crowdfunding platforms. She actively explores intersections between sustainable finance, professionalization processes, and regulatory challenges.
Recent publications highlight her expertise in equity crowdfunding governance, sustainable finance practices, and ethical dilemmas in emerging markets. Her work appears in journals like Journal of Business Ethics and Revue de l'Entrepreneuriat, alongside book chapters and conference presentations.
Garmilis collaborates within the LITEM research laboratory and contributes to academic committees for journals such as Comptabilité, Contrôle, Audit. She teaches financial accounting (aligning with PCG, IFRS, USGAAP standards) and integrates cross-disciplinary perspectives into her pedagogy.
