Maria Robles

Prof. Dr. Maria Robles is a faculty member at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), affiliated with the Institute of Medical Psychology and Department of Systems Chronobiology. Her research focuses on circadian clock mechanisms in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and their therapeutic implications.

Her work explores how circadian rhythmicity affects cancer progression, drug responses, and metastatic potential, with a particular emphasis on time-of-day treatment strategies to improve PDAC therapy outcomes. This aligns with her expertise in chronobiology, circadian medicine, and proteomics.

Current projects under her supervision include doctoral research on tumor intrinsic circadian functionality in PDAC and circadian medicine-based therapeutic approaches. She is actively recruiting candidates with a Master's Degree and English proficiency for a 36-48 month research position.
