Maria Luisa DE RINALDIS is an Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Salento (Italy), affiliated with the Department of Humanities. Her work focuses on Renaissance literature, Shakespearean studies, Victorian aesthetics, and translation theory. She holds a degree from Sapienza University of Rome (1989) and a Master's in Translation Studies from the University of Warwick (2002).

Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate courses on Shakespeare, Romanticism, and modernist literature.
