Dr. Maria Haag is a Lecturer in European Union Law at Tilburg University's Department of Public Law and Governance within the Tilburg Law School. Her research focuses on EU constitutional law, Union citizenship, and free movement/migration law. She holds degrees from Durham University and the European University Institute (EUI), where she earned her LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. Haag has held roles at the European Commission's Legal Service, the Robert Schuman Centre, and served as a research scholar at the University of Michigan and Edinburgh Law Schools. She currently chairs the Stichting European Law Blog.
