Katarzyna Granat is a Visiting Professor at Durham Law School, UK, with prior roles including Junior Research Fellow, Assistant Professor (Research) at Durham, and Emile Noël Fellow at NYU School of Law. She holds a PhD in Law from the European University Institute (EUI), an LLM from EUI, and a master's degree in law from Warsaw University. Her research focuses on parliamentary democracy, the rule of law, and institutional safeguards within the European Union.
She has authored two monographs on EU legal frameworks and Polish constitutional law, and has published extensively on EU legislative processes and national parliamentary roles. Her career includes internships at the European Court of Justice, European Court of Human Rights, and German Bundestag. Currently, she serves in science diplomacy at the Embassy of Poland in Washington, DC.
