Marek Hałub serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Culture of German-speaking Countries and Silesia at the University of Wrocław, a position he has held since 1999. He concurrently acts as Secretary of the German-Polish Society of the University of Wrocław (since 2017) and maintains active memberships in the Catholic Academic Union Capitolina in Rome and the Genshagen Foundation Council.
