Julianna Redlich is an Assistant Professor in the Department of the History of German Literature until 1848 at the Institute of Germanic Philology, University of Wrocław, a position she has held since 2019. Previously, she served as an assistant from 2017 and acts as Editorial Secretary for Germanica Wratislaviensia since 2018.
Education: Studied at the University of Wrocław's Institute of German Philology (2007-2012), completed doctoral studies (2012-2017), and defended her thesis on Carl Busse (writer/literary critic) in 2018 under Prof. Urszula Bonter.
Research Interests: Focuses on Silesian historical dynamics including colonialism (1871-1918), communication networks (1848-1945), and Polish-German intellectual exchanges. Integrates literary history with regional studies through projects on animal rights, cultural patronage, and figures like Erich Bohn.
