Marco J. Jimenez is a Professor of Law at Stetson University College of Law, where he teaches Contracts, Remedies, International Sales and Arbitration, Western Legal Thought, and related courses. He joined the faculty in 2006 and has held the Leroy Highbaugh Sr. Research Chair (2011–2013).

Research Interests span contracts, remedies, law and economics, legal philosophy, and Western legal history. His work bridges doctrinal analysis with behavioral economics, identity theory, and retributive justice.
Publications include empirical studies on promissory estoppel, theories of punitive damages, and interdisciplinary analyses of contract law. His articles appear in journals such as UCLA Law Review, DePaul Law Review, and Florida State University Law Review. He co-authored the widely used casebook Contract Law: A Case & Problem-Based Approach.

Advising & Practice: Prior to Stetson, he clerked for Judge James Lawrence King (Southern District of Florida) and practiced contract, antitrust, and securities law. He coordinates the Honors Program and coaches international moot court teams.
