Christine E. Cerniglia

Christine E. Cerniglia is a Professor of Law and Director of Clinical and Experiential Education at Stetson College of Law, holding the Leroy Highbaugh, Sr. Chair. She has held academic roles since 2008, including positions at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Her teaching focuses on legal skills, professional responsibility, disaster law, and externship programs. She pioneered innovative curricula, such as modular skills training and disaster law courses, and modernized client interviewing techniques using technology. She has authored numerous articles on disaster law, legal education reform, and professional responsibility, and has been recognized with the Gillis Long Poverty Law Center Public Service Award (2016) and the Clem H. Schert Award for Moot Court excellence. Her service includes leadership roles in curriculum committees, bar associations, and disaster preparedness initiatives.
