Marcel Rainer is a Professor at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPW) within ETH Zurich. His research focuses on clinical pharmacy and pharmacoepidemiology, addressing drug safety and risk assessment in clinical settings.
His recent publications investigate adverse events associated with local anesthesia procedures, particularly generalized seizures during axillary plexus blockades. These studies highlight his interest in pharmacovigilance and perioperative safety.
