Prof. dr. Marcel Bouvy is Head of the Department of Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Pharmacology and Professor of Pharmaceutical Care at Utrecht University's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He obtained his PharmD from Groningen University (1984-1992) and has extensive clinical experience as a community pharmacist in Amsterdam, Leiden, and Vleuten (1992-2022). Since 2009, he holds the chair in Pharmaceutical Care with research focusing on medication-related problems and pharmaceutical care interventions.
