Mandi Chapa is a Lecturer at Rice University's School of Architecture and practices architecture and urban design at Huitt-Zollars (formerly Morris Architects). She leads the Houston downtown urban planning team, focusing on projects such as Livable Centers studies for downtown Houston, North Houston, Galveston, Rosenberg, and Dallas transit studies. Her work emphasizes design, metrics, equity, and community outreach to build resilient communities.
