Dr. Mamoon Bashir serves as the Graduate Research Director at Hull University Business School, where he also holds the position of Director of Post Graduate Admissions (Taught Programmes). With over 13 years of academic and research experience across multiple institutions including the University of East Anglia, Aberystwyth University, and various universities in Bangladesh, Dr. Bashir has established himself as a leading expert in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, and Digitalisation. He concurrently serves as the Co-Chair of the Faculty of Business Law and Politics (FBLP) Athena SWAN SAT and maintains a visiting professorship at Tashkent Institute of Finance in Uzbekistan.

His research portfolio also includes participation as Co-PI and Research Assistant on various funded projects, notably the BBSRC-funded 'Sparking Impact Project' and the British Academy-funded 'A cross country examination of supply chain barriers on market access for small and medium firms in India and UK.'
