Susanne Müller is a Lecturer at the University of Lorraine, affiliated with the Centre de recherche sur les médiations (CREM). Her research focuses on the Unheimlich (the uncanny) in contemporary art, traces of World War II in artistic practices, and artistic writing/translation. She co-leads the Praxiteles research team since 2025.

She contributes to the Ciera (Interdisciplinary Center for Studies and Research on Germany) and integrates artistic practices into educational initiatives, particularly through the LéA PRO vocational high school research action.
