Corroy Laurence is a full-time Professor at the University of Lorraine, affiliated with the IUT Nancy-Charlemagne and the Crem (Centre de recherche sur les médiations). She co-heads the Praxis research team and serves as Vice-President of Training at the Société française des sciences de l’information et de la communication (SFSIC). Her work bridges Media and Information Literacy, Health Education, and Youth-Adolescent Media Studies, with a focus on Sexualities, Gender Representation, and Health Communication.
- Research Leadership: Director of the Sexteens and Consenteens projects; co-organizer of the (Sur)Viving on Earth research program (2025-2028).
- Scientific Contributions: Co-authored works on Medical Ethos in Fiction, Sexual Education Through Media, and Digital Literacy Among Youth.
- Media and Public Engagement: Regularly contributes to France Culture, Slate, Science & Vie, and The Conversation, addressing topics like Adolescent Screen Use, Educational Role of Media, and Populism in Communication.
