Léandre Chénard-Poirier is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal, Université de Montréal. His research focuses on work passion, optimal functioning in societal and organizational contexts, and leadership impacts on employee well-being. He holds a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Université de Montréal.
Key research themes include cross-cultural studies of work passion, innovation climate analysis, and the development of psychometric scales for measuring workplace constructs like supervisor social power and societal functioning. His work bridges substantive theory with methodological innovation, emphasizing rigorous quantitative approaches.
Recent publications (2021–2025) explore topics such as Indigenous/non-Indigenous work passion comparisons, team climate profiles, and the role of emotion regulation strategies.
