Dr. Lynne Marsh is a Senior Lecturer (Education) in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast. Her research focuses on improving health and wellbeing for people with learning disabilities, supporting family caregivers, and exploring fathers' experiences of parenting children with intellectual disabilities. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Life Sciences and actively supervises PhD students in these areas.
Dr. Marsh has contributed to international journals such as Evidence-Based Nursing, Learning Disability Practice, and PLoS ONE. Her work emphasizes clinical practice improvements, including the development of the Carers-ID support program and the Babyfirst! e-learning resource. She has also led or contributed to multiple research projects addressing caregiver mental health and healthcare system challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities.

- Currently involved in randomized controlled trials evaluating caregiver support programs post-COVID-19 pandemic.
Her research spans collaborations with institutions across Ireland and the UK, focusing on qualitative methodologies to address gaps in intellectual disability nursing care and family support systems.
