Dr. Luna Xu is an Adjunct Fellow and Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney's School of Nursing and Midwifery. With expertise in aged care, public health, and chronic disease prevention, she holds degrees including a nursing degree from China (2009), Masters in Advanced Nursing from the UK (2011), MPH (2012), and PhD from the University of Newcastle, Australia (2016). Her doctoral research focused on dietary patterns in older Chinese populations to prevent Nutrition-Related Non-Communicable Diseases.
Her research interests span nutrition epidemiology, health policy, and biostatistics. She has contributed to ARC Linkage and NHMRC Partnership projects, including workforce health studies and Type 1 diabetes research, producing policy briefs for organizations like WHO and Chinese CDC.
