Lucie Chan is an Associate Professor of Drawing at NSCAD University. Born in Guyana, she creates multi-layered drawings through collaborations with public participants to explore cross-cultural narratives, particularly immigrant experiences and race-related themes.
Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including the National Art Gallery of Canada, Museum London, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, and Richmond Art Gallery. She has participated in residencies across Europe and received the VIVA Award in 2020 along with multiple provincial and national grants.
