Dr. Jayne Wark is a Professor in the Division of Art History and Contemporary Culture at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Toronto and a BFA from NSCAD. Her teaching focuses on twentieth-century art, feminist art and film, design history, time-based art, conceptual art, and professional arts writing.
Her research explores intersections between conceptual art, the New York avant-garde, and the 1960s-1970s back-to-the-land movement in Nova Scotia.
