Lowenna Jones is a Researcher at the University of Sheffield, affiliated with the School of Sociological Studies, Politics and International Relations. She is a NERC-funded PhD research student within the ECORISC Centre for Doctoral Training, focusing on post-Brexit chemical risk regulation and science-policy dynamics.

Her research explores de-regulation, dis-engagement, and divergence from EU environmental policies, employing interdisciplinary methodologies from natural and social sciences. She is also a co-lead for the Sheffield Methods Institute’s Data Visualisation module and supported by the Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures.
