Louise Svensson is a Lecturer in Sociology at the Department of Education and Sociology (APS), part of the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Learning (IBL) at Linköping University. She serves as program director for the Bachelor's Program in Human Resources (since spring 2023) and as one of two postgraduate study directors at IBL (since 2022).
Her research examines organizational and social dynamics across societal, organizational, and group levels, focusing on exclusion, community, collaboration, and belonging. As a core member of the Work and Working Life research environment, she investigates sustainable work practices through projects like the Helix Competence Center's cross-sectoral collaboration study between private, public, and civil society sectors.
Analysis of her publications reveals consistent exploration of organizational structures' impact on individual experiences within Swedish industrial and educational contexts. Her work bridges sociology, education, and organizational studies to address workplace bullying, identity formation, and welfare collaboration.
Louise supervises students in Human Resources, Sociology, and the Subject Teacher Program (Social Studies), teaching methodology, organizational change, and conflict management. She actively shapes curriculum development for human resources education and social studies teacher training.
