Anna Fogelberg Eriksson is a Senior Associate Professor at Linköping University's Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL), affiliated with the Division of Education and Sociology (APS). Her research focuses on equality, leadership, and innovation in public sector organizations, with particular attention to gender pay equity, workplace innovation, and managerial practices in elderly care. She explores intersections between organizational structures, gender dynamics, and employee-driven initiatives.
Her research interests include: gender equality policies, leadership in unpredictable work environments, public sector innovation capacity, and the implementation challenges of gender audits. Key projects examine how Swedish municipalities justify pay differences through audit reports and how frontline managers navigate gender roles in care settings.
Her recent work highlights tensions between policy ideals and practical implementation in achieving pay equity. She also investigates organizational learning mechanisms for new managers in healthcare and the role of social support in managerial legitimacy.
