Loren J. Samons II is a Professor of Classical Studies at Boston University and serves as Chief Academic Advisor and Executive Director of The Institute for Hellenic Culture and the Liberal Arts at The American College of Greece. He specializes in ancient Greek history, particularly the 5th and 6th centuries B.C., with a focus on Athenian politics, imperialism, and historiography.
