Lisa Moran is a Professor (Research) at the Monash Centre for Health Research & Implementation, part of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. She is also an Affiliate staff member at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. Lisa Moran’s research is dedicated to optimizing weight management and nutritional status in women of reproductive age, particularly to mitigate obesity-related diseases. Her work addresses key life stages—preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum—with a strong emphasis on clinically translatable lifestyle interventions. Specific areas include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), infertility, intervention mechanisms, and reducing attrition in clinical programs.
The recent articles reflect a consistent focus on women’s metabolic and reproductive health, leveraging clinical trials, systematic reviews, and qualitative studies.
