Lisa Davies is an Associate Professor at Lipscomb University's College of Education, serving as Lead Faculty for the School Counseling program. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership (2017, East Tennessee State University), an M.S. in School Counseling (1989, Tennessee State University), and a B.S. in Office Administration (1985, Lipscomb University). Her expertise includes college/career access, supporting underserved students, and bullying prevention. She previously served as an Associate Professor at Nashville State Community College (2012–2020), teaching psychology and leading study abroad trips to Europe and Australia.
Research interests focus on equitable education access, particularly for underserved populations, and innovative approaches to college/career guidance. She pioneered the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program at Grassland Middle School (2008) and developed technology platforms for college navigation while at Lipscomb Academy (2011).
Teaching and leadership roles include supervising graduate students in Lipscomb’s M.Ed. and Ed.S programs. Community involvement includes travel advocacy and church attendance at Harpeth Hills Church of Christ.
