Dr. Lisa Chamberlain is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Liverpool (awarded after an MSc in Human Resource Management there) and a BA in Humanities from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Her research focuses on quality of working life in micro and small businesses, employment relationships, craft/creative work, and visual research methods. She previously worked in private-sector HR and public-sector logistics/administration.

Research Interests: Dr. Chamberlain’s work examines labor conditions in MSMEs, the evolving nature of employment relationships, and innovative research methods like netnography. Her PhD explored hairdressers’ working lives, shaping her interest in digital technology adoption in traditional trades and apprenticeship systems.
