Linda S. Rouse

Linda S. Rouse serves as Assistant Professor and Dean of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry. She joined NSUCO as a full-time faculty member in 2003 and co-owns a private optometric practice established in 1994. Her educational background includes an O.D. from the Illinois College of Optometry (1992), an M.B.A. with a finance concentration (2016), and a residency in primary eye care/ocular disease (1993).

Research Focus: Dr. Rouse's work spans optometric practice management, ophthalmic optics, neuro-eye disorders, and posterior segment diseases. She developed NSUCO's Optical Education Curriculum and lectures across multiple programs, including the Physician Assistant program.

Professional Engagement: Active member of the American, Florida, and Broward County Optometric Associations; participant in the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry's clinical administration groups; and former 8-year committee member for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
