Annette Bade

Annette Bade, O.D., M.S., FAAO, Dipl-ABO, is an Associate Professor at the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. She serves as the Clinical Research Coordinator and Co-investigator for nationally funded research grants. Her career has emphasized collaborative research with students and faculty, yielding numerous posters and publications. Dr. Bade holds leadership roles, including past-president of the Broward County Optometric Association and service on the Institutional Review Board as a director.

Her research interests focus on clinical optometry and healthcare advancements, particularly in vision science and ocular health. Her contributions to the field have been recognized through awards such as the Texas Optometric Association’s Young Optometrist of the Year and the Nova Southeastern University Alumni Award of Excellence.

Dr. Bade is a dedicated member of professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry (Fellow). She actively mentors students and contributes to interdisciplinary academic projects.
