Lina Maria Lopez Sanchez is a Professor in the Department of Geological and Mining Engineering at the Technical University of Madrid. She serves as Department Director since February 2025 and is a member of the Technological Center for Safety and Quality in Energy and Mining Industries (TECMINERGY) since May 2025. Earlier, she became Principal Investigator of the Georesource Engineering and Modeling research group in 2005 and has held her academic role since 2008.
