Lin Jiang, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with affiliations to the Brain Research Institute and Molecular Biology Institute. His research bridges structural biology and neuroscience to investigate amyloid protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases.
His work focuses on molecular mechanisms of tau and alpha-synuclein pathology, metabolic disease neurocircuits, and structure-based therapeutic design using Cryo-EM and computational approaches. Recent publications highlight amyloid polymorphism, receptor-mediated transmission, and chaperone protein interactions.
