Dr Leroi Henry is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the School of Management and Marketing within the Faculty of Business. He joined the university in 2017 and leads undergraduate courses on HR analytics and metrics, as well as postgraduate research methods. His teaching portfolio includes cross-cultural management and diversity management, alongside dissertation supervision and personal tutoring roles.
Dr Henry holds a BA, PhD, and PGCert, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His research focuses on workplace equality, diversity in football management, oral histories of the Windrush generation nurses, and the role of diasporas in international development. He has led EU-funded projects on equality in the workplace and employee wellbeing, and previously contributed to NHS-centered research on public participation in healthcare decision-making.
His professional history includes roles at the University of Northampton (research methods coordination), London Metropolitan University’s Working Lives Research Institute (EU project leadership and doctoral supervision), the Open University (migrant health professional studies), and the NHS Centre for Involvement at Warwick University.
Dr Henry has supervised three doctoral students to completion and collaborates on interdisciplinary projects addressing social and organizational challenges. His work bridges academic research with practical applications in human resources, public health, and international development.
